April Trait of the Month

Throughout the month of April, we have been focusing on Courage. Courage is choosing what is helpful, rightm or kind, even when it is hard or scary. Enjoy the Courage Family Newsletter.

Spotlight on Academics

Learning doesn’t just happen during school hours—it can take place anytime, anywhere through the everyday moments families already share. Whether you’re cooking dinner, taking a walk, shopping at the store, or reading together before bed, children are constantly building skills like problem-solving, communication, and curiosity. Counting ingredients, noticing patterns in nature, asking questions, or talking about the day all help strengthen learning in meaningful ways. By recognizing these natural opportunities, families can turn simple daily routines into powerful learning experiences that support children’s growth and confidence. We appreciate the partnership that we have with you in helping your child grow both socially and academically.

You are still invited to return any of the following family activities.

Math Around the House - 3rd grade has the highest participation.

Panda Express Bookmark (return with your child's full name and teacher) - 1st and 4th grades have the highest participation!

BBES 2026 Winter Olympics Medals Graph - 5th grade has the highest participation!

Hershey Bears Reading Log - 1st grade has the highest participation! While there are no games to attend, your child can still receive the certificate.

Book Bingo Challenge - 1st grade has the highest participation!

Excellence in Attendance

We are grateful to our families for sharing your children each day as we grow and learn together. When students attend school consistently, they not only strengthen essential skills in reading, writing, and math, but also benefit from collaboration with peers—sharing ideas, building teamwork, and forming lasting friendships. Being together nurtures social development and fosters a sense of belonging that enriches the learning experience. When everyone is present, we grow stronger, more confident, and better prepared for success—together.

Congratulations to our Attendance Pizza Winners. Our thanks to DiMaria's Pizza & Italian Kitchen for supporting our learners amazing attendance.
